An Insight into Artist Adamakos’ world
After an introspective year in isolation, Giannis Adamakos makes a departure from his colour-soaked compositions to seek beauty in shadows and foggy silhouettes in his collection, Insight currently showing at Citronne Gallery.
What: Giannis Adamakos, who trained under Dimitris Mytaras and Panayotis Tetsis, presents his new body of work Insight. A deeply thoughtful and visionary artist, he describes his creative process during this isolationist times as “a solitary process, where experiential images are incorporated, as well as the resulting emotion. I am looking for the magic that the darkness, the shadows, the fog and the ambiguity radiate. A beauty hidden and hazy like in a dream.”
