Art Athina finds a New Home at Onassis Ready
Greece’s biggest art fair is packing up and heading somewhere decidedly different: Onassis Ready, in Agios Ioannis Rentis, from 12–16 November 2026. After years of calling the grand Zappeion Megaron home, Art Athina is trading neoclassical splendour for industrial cool as the Zappeion closes temporarily for renovations. Now in its 33rd year, Art Athina has long been a fixture on the European art calendar, bringing together galleries, artists and art lovers for a panoramic look at contemporary Greek and international art. And if there’s one thing this fair knows how to do, it’s reinvent itself. Its new home Onassis Ready is the Onassis Foundation’s dynamic cultural hub, where industrial heritage meets the creative energy of contemporary Athens. Expect a fresh setting, a different perspective and a new chapter for Greece’s most anticipated annual art rendezvous. If its new visual identity, designed by G Design Studio, is any indication, Art Athina 2026 promises a bold collision of Athens’ industrial past with its cultural present.
