WHAT:  Peruse more than 800 items including machines, photographs, rare documents, audiovisual material, original historical texts, unknown facts, guided tours and educational workshops as part of this comprehensive tribute to Greece’s industrial evolution over the period 1860-1970.

Where does a rabbit come from? When was the first ice-cream on a stick made? What do we know about Mr. Marshall and his plan? Which Greek industries had the most original advertisements? Have you ever seen a mixer bigger than yourself?

These are just some of the fascinating distractions at 160 years made in Greece. Industry, Innovation, Novelty – an intriguing display to mark the 160th anniversary of the iconic Athens Gasworks.
