Papadopoulou 100: The story of a Company feeding Greek childhood memories since 1922

Papadopoulou 100: The story of a Company feeding Greek childhood memories since 1922

What: Few products evoke such intense nostalgia as biscuits and cookies that have marked ones childhood. 2022 marks 100 full years in operation for the family-owned biscuit and food manufacturing company E.J. PAPADOPOULOS S.A.

The exhibition organised to mark this celebration seeks to highlight the ingredients in this hundred year’s success, highlighting all aspects of it:   its history, how its products are made, the importance of its brand. This is the story of a family, the Papadopoulos family, who for a century has been holding the reins of this Greek industry. Visitors will be given the opportunity to follow its story, viewed in parallel with the history of Greece, and the small stories of the Company’s people who struggled daily so we could enjoy something as simple as a biscuit.

When: December 9- February 27

Where: Benaki Museum, 138 Pireos & Andronikou St., https://www.benaki.org/index.php?lang=en
