4th Tango Lovers Festival & Marathon Athens
WHAT: Get your tango on during four giddy days and nights pulsing with rhythm, smiles and high spirits as the Tango Lovers Festival returns to Athens, uniting leading dancers from the international circuit, to the soundtrack of Buenos Aires and Montevideo.
This year, the festival will kick off with an electric opening night performance by leading tango dancers, followed by a “milonga”, (where the public is invited to join in on the dancing). Along with expertly-led tango workshops and masterclasses, this year welcomes four leading couples in tango from Argentina and Turkey:

- Julio Balmaceda & Virginia Vasconi
- Neri Piliu & Yanina Quinones
- Esref Tekinalp & Vanessa Gauch
