Rabee Younes introduces himself to Athens with “Genesis”
In his first solo exhibition, Rabee Younes partners with Athens Insider for a groundbreaking new show.
Rabee Younes, is showcasing his first solo exhibition, “Genesis”, in partnership with Athens Insider, on May 9. “Genesis” is a compelling blend of photography, sculpture, and painting, it explores themes of origin, memory, and transformation. Younes is the founder of Art Therapy Gallery on Paros Island where art becomes a vehicle for healing, connection, and community.
With over 16 years of experience as a fashion photographer, Younes’s visual work has been published in prestigious magazines such as Vogue, Elle, L’Officiel, and more, while also collaborating with renowned fashion houses like Elie Saab, Zuhair Murad, and other celebrated names in the industry.
Nine years ago, Younes embarked on a transformative spiritual journey, marked by surrender and deep exploration of healing practices and belief systems encountered through extensive travel. It was through this surrender to God that his creative expression evolved beyond photography. He began painting and working with clay, channeling new dimensions of storytelling through canvas, ceramics, and sculpture.
This exhibition not only introduces Younes’ evocative practice to a new audience but also signals Art|Therapy’s commitment to fostering artistic dialogue and community across borders.
