A unique, engaging interface that allows visitors to relive their holidays in Greece and to make future plans by offering a glimpse of what this ancient yet contemporary destination can offer “Greece from Home’ developed by Greece’s Tourism Ministry, the Greek National Tourism Organization, Marketing Greece and Google aims to promote Greece in the hearts and minds of visitors.
Launched on April 2, the new platform lets visitors soak in its natural beauty, meander through its white-washed alleys, take in the magnificence of its ancient temples, dive into its turquoise coves, hike through its mountain villages, and discover the hospitality, the customs, the cuisine and the traditions that make Greece such a coveted destination.
The Greek government has been extremely proactive in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic with measures to protect public health, shield and restart the economy and rebuild Greek society and to strengthen the image of our country as a tourist destination, Haris Theocharis, Greece’s Minister for Tourism stated.
