Comicdom CON returns to Athens
WHAT: See some of the world’s top comics talents at this annual three-day celebration of the cult art form as the Comicdom CON festival returns to the Hellenic American Union and the French Institute of Greece.
Since 2006, Comicdom CON has introduced Greek audiences to famous international guests, original art exhibitions, sketch events, panels, screenings, workshops on comics and related arts at this popular festival, which also comprises a publishers & retailers bazaar.
Comicdom Con Athens has hosted work by esteemed international foundations, such as the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum, the Hergé Museum and the Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco.
Among this year’s highlights: British scriptwriter Simon Spurrier, from comics such as X-MEN LEGACY and STAR WARS: APHRA, and author of THE DREAMING series, in the new imprint THE SANDMAN UNIVERSE.
